Activities, Music & Sport

Activities, Music & Sport

The policy of Listellick National School in relation to sport is based on the old principle of "healthy mind, healthy body". The school has a healthy eating policy and we encourage the children to participate and enjoy all sports. The school has, in the past, availed of outside coaching in the sports of Gaelic Football, Hurling, Rugby, Basketball and Volleyball. Our school teams are involved on a yearly basis in Gaelic Football and Soccer. As a mixed school we involve both boys and girls in these sports.
